Pre-Teens and Lupus

Lupus LA’s Fall Pediatric Support and Education Group gives kids and parents the tools to help manage lupus, which can be physically and emotionally challenging, especially for young teenagers.

Kids with lupus from 10-13 years old will work with a facilitator to tackle issues such as self-esteem and social skills, while parents meet with a different facilitator to learn how to help their families cope with lupus. Younger siblings can tag along to play games with our volunteers.

Sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from November 3 – December 8.

For more info and to register for this program, contact Elyse Reyes at ereyes@lupusla.org or 310-657-5667.
