Celebrities and Supporters Walk the Orange Carpet for Lupus
We honored two amazing and accomplished women: Nancy Utley, President of Fox Searchlight Films, and famed lyricist, songwriter and singer, Carole Bayer Sager. CSI Miami star Eva La Rue hosted, Toni Braxton performed, Drew Barrymore and David Foster presented, and, to top it all off, Bollywood-style dancers opened the event with a performance of "Jai Ho" from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack. View photos from the stage and the “orange carpet” here. It was an exciting evening that brought together LA’s lupus community to raise vital funds for lupus research and support services. As a reminder of the ongoing fight for a cure, we invited four women to share their stories of living with lupus. Watch video from their speeches here.
