The Orange Ball is Lupus LA’s premier fundraising gala. Held each spring, this event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Lupus LA's awareness and education programs across Southern California, as well as groundbreaking research through our national partner, the Lupus Research Institute. The celebrity-hosted night features a cocktail hour, formal dinner, live entertainment, and the glamorous attendees.
Past performers have included Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh of The Eagles, Toni Braxton, and Seal. Hosts, including George Lopez, Eva La Rue, and Bruno Tonioli, have helped honor such individuals as Cindy and Glenn Frey, Nancy Utley, Carol Bayer Sager, Lauren Shuler Donner and Richard Donner, and others. In addition to the "Loop Award" a special award is given each year in honor of Lupus LA's founder, Daniel J. Wallace, MD.

Autumn brings the Hollywood Bag Ladies Lupus Luncheon, a lively day that includes a silent auction of new, gently used and vintage handbags donated by celebrities and top designers, fashion show and a sumptuous feast.

Guests participate in a silent auction, filled with priceless memorabilia and unique experiences as we increase lupus awareness and raise money for patient services programs and research.
